Blackstone Country Club To Hosts Singleton Moms Golf Tournament
Blackstone Country Club will host the Eighth Annual Singleton Moms Charity Golf Tournament 7:00 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, April 9, which benefits Singleton Moms, a local organization supporting single parents who are battling cancer.
Registration and a continental breakfast are scheduled from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start immediately following at 9 a.m. An awards lunch with silent auction and raffle will follow the tournament at 2 p.m. at Blackstone Country Club. Cost to enter is $150 per player and includes golf and lunch. A lunch-only option is also available for $15 per person.
Singleton Moms was founded in 2006 by two Valley women who watched their childhood friend, Michelle Singleton, succumb to cancer. The non-profit organization is dedicated to bringing hope, help and support to struggling single parents in Maricopa County who are fighting the disease.
Event participants will experience the award-winning Jim Engh designed course featuring dramatic terrain with deep, chiseled channels and sheer rock faces, while offering much-needed support for the local community. Blackstone Country Club’s private golf course is a four-time Golf Digest national award winner.
