Over 600 visitors attended the Vistancia Winter Whiteout Carnival and fundraiser which took place at Sunset Park in Vistancia on Saturday, January 28th. This fun filled event included over 40 tons of snow. Families enjoyed sledding, snow ball fights along with carnival games and activities. Over $1,400 was raised for the two local elementary schools in the community, Vistancia and Lake Pleasant Elementary.

The Winter Whiteout Event was organized by The Village at Vistancia homeowner’s association in partnership with Lake Pleasant Elementary and Vistancia Elementary. “Through the past year, we’ve worked to develop relationships with the schools and the community at large,” said Melissa Parsons, lifestyle director for The Village at Vistancia. “We enjoy offering these events to bring students and families from both schools together to celebrate as a community.”
